FOUR MORE candidates, including a former regional district board member, have filed their forms to run in the election for the Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine.

Les Watmough will run for Area E, which is Thornhill, against incumbent Ted Ramsey and newcomer Sarah Crampton.

Watmough was a board director until losing to Ramsey in the last election.

Incumbent Allan Lanctot will run again for Area C, which is the area around Terrace excluding Thornhill, against current Terrace city councillor Brad Pollard, Glenn Martin and Doug McLeod.

Pollard had earlier announced his intention to not run for Terrace city councillor again due to increasing work commitments, but had indicated he was thinking of running for the regional district.

Candidates have until 4 p.m. tomorrow, Oct. 14, to get their application forms into the regional district office.
