The Inaugural flight of Northwestern Air between Abbotsford and Kelowna was marked by the presence of dignitaries from both cities. Mayor Bruce Banman welcomed Kelowna mayor, Walter Gray and representatives from Kelowna International Airport to Abbotsford on Sunday. Following an exchange of flight bags and a reception Kelowna bound passengers boarded the return flight to the Interior city.
