(L-r) North Thompson Fall Fair and Rodeo Association volunteers Dan Christensen and Gary Pfeifer, who is also a NTFFRA director, were spotted early one morning trying to beat the afternoon heat that has recently pushed temperatures up as high as 40°C in the Barriere area. The pair are working on constructing the new announcers booth and VIP seating area in the outdoor arena at the fairgrounds, all in time for the Labour Day Weekend event.
