A Jeep Patriot allegedly collided with the rear of the Ford truck, forcing it off the road, where it then burst into flames.

The lone occupant of the Ford made it out of the vehicle safely and was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

Fire crews were able to extinguish the fire before it spread to the neighbouring brush.
