While the Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District saw fewer changes than city council, the board of directors did elect a new chair and vice-chair.
Acclaimed Tofino mayor Josie Osborne was elected as chair of the regional district while Beaver Creek director John McNabb was elected vice-chair.
Osborne was also chosen as interim regional district liaison to the Association of Vancouver Island and Coastal Communities.
