Overturned truck closes Sooke Road

Road expected to open soon after logging truck spills logs, fuel near 17 Mile Pub

Shortly after 7 a.m. a logging truck travelling south on Sooke Rd. tipped ofer near the 17 Mile Pub. The truck was turned upright at 9:15, but logs and an estiated 100 litres of disel fuel were spilled over the road. The driver of the truck bumped his head and no one else was injured. The crash is underinvestigation.
