Pacific Coastal Airlines set to start new route between Kelowna and Victoria

First flight scheduled to touch down in Kelowna Monday morning.

Pacific Coastal Airlines will start its new seven-day-a-week service between Kelowna (YLW) and Victoria (YYJ) on Nov. 23.

The first flight from Victoria is scheduled to arrive at YLW Monday morning.

The airline announced earlier this year it would start flying between Kelowna and Victoria twice a day Monday to Friday and once an day on Saturdays and Sundays.

Victoria and Kelowna are 10th and 11th busiest airports in Canada respectively, with both serving more than 1.6 million passengers in 2014.
