The Parkinson Recreation Centre’s aquatic area will be temporarily closed from Aug. 31 through Sept. 19 for annual general maintenance. This closure will affect the main pool, children’s play pool, whirlpool and steam room. The aquatic area is scheduled to reopen on Sunday, Sept. 20.
Parkinson Recreation Centre pass holders are invited to use the aquatic facilities at H20 Adventure + Fitness Centre from Aug. 31 to Sept. 19. Pass holders must pre-register at Parkinson Recreation Centre in order to gain access to the facilities at H2O. Alternatively, pass holders can have an extension added to their Parkinson Recreation Centre pass.
The gymnasium located at the Parkinson Recreation Centre will also be closed for maintenance from Aug. 31 to Sept. 19.
Maintenance closures are necessary in order to maintain a clean and safe facility. The City appreciates facility user patience during this time.
