Nineteen performers have made the semifinals of Parksville Idol and winners will be determined after they sing for the crowd Saturday in Parksville Community Park.
Parksville Idol was developed to celebrate the theme of this year’s sand sculptures, music. The contest was open to solo, amateur singers. Amateur was defined as someone whose main income is not derived from singing, or someone who has a CD or record.
