Parksville Qualicum Beach area could see 2-4 centimetres of snow Tuesday

Don't put away those shovels just yet

Just as Parksville Qualicum Beach residents are putting away their shovels, more snow may fall the region as early as Tuesday.

According to Environment Canada, periods of snow mixed with rain is expected late Tuesday morning. Snowfall could accumulate to two centimetres, or four centimetres in higher terrain. There’s a 70 per cent chance or flurries for Tuesday night.

Wednesday’s forecast is sunny with a high of 5 C and no snow expected. The sun should be out on Thursday as well with a possibility of snow overnight. Friday is also calling for rain or snow.
