A public hearing to gather input on a proposed zoning and development bylaw amendment to facilitate attainable ownership under the Affordable Home Ownership Program (AHOP) for 243 Corfield St. will be held by the City of Parksville on Monday, July 19, at 3 p.m.
The amendment would be to provide the same density otherwise provided through bonus density provisions of the existing zoning restrictions. However, if carried, it would change the zoning from medium density residential to comprehensive development.
The hearing will be held virtually online through Zoom, and will be livestreamed through the city’s Youtube channel.
