The Peace Arch border crossing is seeing higher than normal wait times, and Canada Border Services is advising drivers to head to either the Pacific Highway Truck Crossing or the Aldergrove crossing.
The delay is due to the failure of an electronic message board at Loomis Trail Road in Washington State that is out of operation.
While Peace Arch backs up, drivers heading back to Canada are being advised to use alternate routes.
A CanBorder app is available for download for Apple, Android, and Blackberry users that allows travellers to check on border wait times, or by calling 1-800-461-9999.
