The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure will hold a second open house looking into the future highway improvement options for Peachland.

The first public open house was held on June 21 and presented findings of the fact-finding phase of the study.

“For the second open house, the study team has prepared several options to improve the existing corridor, as well as options using an alternate route, for further public comment,” reads a Ministry press release.

“The public’s input will be considered in the evaluation and eventual selection of future transportation improvements.”

The ministry has committed to extensive community engagement as part of the study process.
