At approximately 12 p.m. a train struck a male pedestrian on the railroad crossing near the intersection of Marine Park Drive and Lakeshore Drive in downtown Salmon Arm.
Salmon Arm Fire Department and BC Ambulance Service Crews are on scene.
A medevac helicopter has been dispatched.
