Penny Lane provides donation to Cops for Kids

Summerland charity supports fundraising ride each year

The Penny Lane Charity Shop Society presented $1,000 to Cops for Kids when the cyclists passed through Summerland on Sept. 14.

Each year Penny Lane presents a donation to the cyclists on their fundraiser.

The Cops for Kids tour consists of 34 cyclists and six people on the support crew. The cyclists are from the RCMP and other enforcement agencies.

Their ride is to raise awareness and money for children in medical, physical or traumatic crisis.
