A man called police on Dec. 12 after a female attacked him while having a cigarette outside his home.
The man stepped outside of his home for a cigarette when a female approached and asked him for one. When the man said he didn’t have any, the female proceeded to punch him in the head. When the man tried to go back into his residence the female continually hit him and followed him inside.
The man suffered cuts to his head which required stitches.
Police attended and arrested the female. Upon arrest, she punched the peace officer in the mouth. The female was held in cells overnight and is facing charges of breaking and entering, assault and assault of a peace officer. The woman is known to police and was released on a promise to appear in court.
