Penticton’s city council will be allowing people to attend their next meeting in person.
This will be the first council meeting to allow in-person attendees in over a year.

The city cancelled its council meetings in March 2020, as well as closing City Hall and other municipally operated buildings.
After partially reopening, Penticton was one of the last communities in the Okanagan to return to full publicly accessible hours at City Hall in March, 2021.

The in-person council meeting will be held at the usual time of 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 20, but will be hosted at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre instead of the council chambers.
The meeting will also be broadcast over the city’s website and electronic attendance and participation are still open. For information on how to attend electronically, as well as the meeting agenda, you can go to www.penticton.ca/city-hall/city-council/council-meetings.
