Penticton today: Snow forecasted, fire destroys mobile home and update on overdose deaths

Snow forecasted for Penticton tonight, a fire destroyed a mobile home on Saturday night and update on overdose deaths this morning.

Good morning, Penticton.

Environment Canada says to expect periods of snow ending late this morning. Windy conditions, gusting up to 60 kilometres, will mean drifting snow. This evening, five to 10 centimetres of snow. Today will have a high of -2 C and a low of -3 C.

Flames could be seen shooting high up into the night sky as fire ripped through a mobile home at 3316 Valleyview Road Saturday evening. Read more: Fire guts Penticton mobile home
