Get a peek at the wastewater treatment sites proposed around the region with a joint presentation by the Eastside and Westside Select Committees on June 24.
The session features a brief presentation and open house from 5 to 7 p.m. where residents can learn about the work done to date and how to continue to provide feedback moving forward.
The Eastside Select Committee has concluded the open survey as part of its public engagement process with residents of Victoria, Saanich, and Oak Bay in a bid to better understand public priorities for a sewage treatment facility and get feedback on the public consultation process.
The results from this open survey will be presented once the report has been developed.
The Eastside Select Committee also completed a poll where respondents were all panelists in Ipsos Reid’s 200,000+ national household panel.
A total of 452 local residents completed the survey and the data was weighted to reflect the population based on census data for region, age and gender.
According to Ipsos Reid, this representative survey is accurate to within +/-5.3 percentage points compared to the results that would have been received if all adults in Victoria, Saanich and Oak Bay had been polled.
The joint presentation of potential treatment sites aond other information runs June 24 at the Delta Hotel in Victoria from 5 to 7 p.m.
