A Nelson pharmacy was broken into on Sunday, January 18, and a quantity of narcotics was stolen.
The Nelson Police Department is investigating and urges anyone with information to contact them at 250-354-3919. Also, because of the type and quantity of the narcotics taken there is a serious danger of accidental overdose if they are not used as directed by a qualified physician.
Local emergency agencies have been notified and are aware if any medical situation is reported where prescription drugs have been abused.
