About 15 members of the Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce came out to have breakfast with Kootenay-Columbia MP Wayne Stetski at the Main Street Cafe on Friday morning.
Stetski spoke for close to an hour, touching on a few key national topics: medically-assisted dying, marijuana legalization and democratic reform; and three riding priorities – the environment, support for small businesses and food security.
He said he will be organizing meetings with himself, the MLA, local government and small business owners to look at ways governments can help small businesses. He also said he was introducing a bill to proclaim the Friday before Thanksgiving National Food Security Day.
