Farm hand Mike Nyberg checks on the progress of the strawberries in his field at Haliburton Farm. Nyberg started as a student at the farm, and now he grows vegetables on a plot he shares with Nate Poetger. The farmers named their business New Mountain Farm, and sell vegetables and plants at the Victoria Public Market, the Moss Street Market and the Haliburton Farm stand, which opens in May.
