A new modular classroom was erected at Arden Elementary School on Sept. 1. The new classroom will house 18 kindergarten students and their teachers this fall.

The classroom is the first of three modulars that will be set up in the Comox Valley this week to accommodate an influx of new teachers for the incoming school year. The other two modulars will be housed at Mark R. Isfeld Secondary School.

The modular was built in Cumberland by Muchalat Construction.
