Local artists Dean and Christina Lauze created the M Monument commemorating Mission’s 125th Anniversary.
The sculpture recognizes Mission’s blue-collar feel by using heavy duty trusses and many industrial elements that represent the community and its history.
The public art unveiling took place Wednesday afternoon at the Welton Common in downtown Mission.
