The new Port of Kingsgate border facility opened on March 22. Three lanes featuring bi-level booths (to handle both semis and automobiles) are attached to the 4,186-square-foot (1,276-square-metre) main building, which has about 40 staff. OUtside the main entrance is a large covered area for secondary searches and for travellers to park while inside.
