Main photo: Ron Rotzetter (r) of On Call Services presents a cheque for $1,323 to Gail Capostinsky of Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Also in the photo are (back, l-r) Margaret Dallamore, Marg Sunderman, Evelyn Warner, Marc Rotzetter, Tyson Rotzetter, (front, l-r) Bonnie Harms, Dianna Trautman, Marilyn Collison, Sue Ludtke, Capostinsky and Rotzetter.
Left: Photo shows a mobile made by Barriere artist Marie Downing from some of the salvaged copper wire. Gina Walchuk of Clearwater made the plaque. It reads, “Heart & Soul, 3 Hearts, The original Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital was built in September, 1972 and taken down in October, 2016. The Hospital Auxiliary was formed in 1970. This beautiful three-heart design was created with copper wire salvaged from the old hospital. Donated by On Call Service Centre Ltd.”
