Photoshoot: Kelowna’s Keloha weekend proves a scorcher

The Okanangan lived up to its name this weekend with 36C temperatures and an artsy beach party

Christine Turpin could not have painted a better scene this weekend if she tried.

The face paint artist enjoyed a lovely deep blue backdrop and bright ambiance even under the tent where she worked away on Dilynn Siba’s face.

Keloha proved quieter than in years gone by with temperatures hitting 36C and little shade.

It didn’t stop local musicians Devon Coyote Trio from rocking the beach with local blues legend Sherman Doucette, who broke out one of his harmonicas. He has over 700 in his collection.
