The talent kept coming as students from Norma Hoy’s Studio performed in celebration of their hard work and dedication over the last year.
The piano recital, held on June 2, brought family and friends out to Fort St. James Secondary School to listen and support these students and all that they have achieved.
“I really appreciate you supporting these students. Everyone is doing so well,” Hoy said.
There were a variety of pieces performed including the Batman Theme, Beethoven’s Best and Swing Low, Sweet Chariot played by Hoy.
Hannah Wingerter ended off the night with a delightful performance of her own piece, My Adventure Begins.
Honourable mention goes to Conor Duncan who received a certificate of excellence in music composition from Music for Young Children, Sunbeams 1 Western Canada 2016.
