A driver involved in a Friday night rollover may have been impaired. Police are investigating.

Just after 10 p.m. last night, Langley City firefighters and Mounties were called to the 5200-block of 208th Street, to a crash that occurred on the s-curve.

They arrived to find a pickup truck on its side on the sidewalk and facing the wrong direction.

Witnesses on scene said the driver was able to get out of the vehicle on his own, but was checked out by paramedics.

He was also given a breathalyzer twice, then taken into custody.

The single-vehicle crash had three lanes of traffic along 208th Street, near the east end of the Langley Bypass, blocked while crews cleaned up the scene.

Police have not yet been reached for further comment.
