Kelly Pound (left) is donating several pews from the former St. John’s the Baptist Church in Comox and selling eight others.

Kelly Pound (left) along with Comox Coun. Patti Fletcher (representing the St. Joseph’s General Hospital Foundation), Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park Administrator Eden Lindsay-Bodie and Kay Bukta, curator of the Comox Archives and Museum sit in the original building of the St. John’s the Baptist Church on Comox Aveune. Pound, owner and founding member of the Little Red Church Society, is donating pews to the above organizations and selling eight from the church to raise funds for the society in order to restore the building for use as a community gathering place for artists, musicians, theatre and more.
