Four people have been attacked by three roving pit bulls in North Surrey.
At about 2 p.m. Friday, three pit bulls attacked four people at a home in the 11300 block of Loughren Drive, near the south end of the Port Mann Bridge.
Animal control and RCMP attended.
Mounties said it looked as though the situation started after the dogs started fighting each other, and turned dangerous after the owners stepped in to break it up.
Neighbours said the dog owners had just moved in recently, and hadn’t caused any problems.
Animal control and police removed three pit bulls and a smaller dog from the property.
The animals are being taken to a shelter, but it’s unclear what will happen to them next.
Animal control officers and Mounties are investigating the situation.
