RCMP executed a second search warrant on a home in the span of a week, first arresting a woman Wednesday night for possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
A search warrant was executed on the residence in the 2000 block of Maple Street March 23; a second one followed March 26. In the first search, a woman was arrested and later released to appear in court at a later date. A man, who was also located in the home, was released without charges. However, on the second search both he and the woman were remanded in custody to appear in provincial court March 29.
A quantity of drugs, cash and a firearm were seized from the residence. Investigators allege that the woman had been selling crack cocaine and other drugs from the residence for some time.
