There were 44 calls for service between Oct. 24 and 27.
Vandalism
There was a report of a parked car at a residence on Throup Road that had one tire slashed on Oct. 25, happening sometime overnight.
On Golledge Road, there was a report on Oct. 26 of one tire slashed on a parked car that occurred two to three days before.
Police suspect it is the same individual.
“We have increased our patrols (and) we have a citizens patrol out helping us in an attempt to try and identify the person responsible,” said Staff Sgt. Steve Wright.
Wright said it’s hard to apprehend a suspect unless they are caught in the act of doing it, or police receive a tip from the public.
“”Eventually we’ll find out who did it.”
Police are still investigating.
Collisions
On Oct. 26 at 3:40 p.m., a woman was travelling southbound at the 1100 block of Gillespie Road losing control of her car as she went around a right hand corner. She slid off the road and collided with a large rock. The driver was alone in the car and was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after hitting her chest against the steering wheel.
Police are still investigating and have not yet spoken to the driver, who may not have been wearing a seatbelt.
There were no break-ins to vehicles, houses or businesses over this period.
