Driver nets roadside suspension after noise complaint

Oak Bay police were called to a noise complaint in central Oak Bay Saturday.

On arrival, police found a vehicle with music playing from the stereo. Further investigation determined the driver had consumed liquor, confirmed by a screening device.

The driver was issued a 90-day Immediate Roadside Prohibition and the vehicle was impounded.
