Police call ambulance for man staggering in traffic

Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 20 calls for service from March 22nd, 8 a.m. till March 23rd, 8 a.m.

Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 20 calls for service from March 22nd, 8 a.m. till March 23rd, 8 a.m.

During the same time period, four people were lodged in Terrace cells – two of these people were lodged for intoxication.

Downtown Terrace

A woman had issue with another woman’s manner of parking and yelled at her.

Breach of a Conditional Sentence Order investigation.

Fight on Emerson St./Lazelle Ave. Police spoke with two slightly intoxicated men. One was transported to an alternate location.

A man staggering down Lakelse Ave. almost getting hit by cars. Police requested the assistance of BC Ambulance who transported him to Mills Memorial Hospital.

Two men sleeping in front of motel. Police woke the two men up and requested the assistance of BC Ambulance who transported one to Mills Memorial Hospital.

Breach of a no contact condition of Probation. A 28-year-old man was arrested and is held for court.

Elsewhere Terrace

Familial dispute and well-being check. Everyone was fine.

Two men vandalizing a fence with graffiti at Kerr St./Feeney Ave. There was a delay in the report. Checks of the area were done.

Familial dispute and custody issues. Police spoke with the people involved and a resolution as reached.

An intoxicated man attempting to get into the shelter on Hall St. Police arrested the man.

Familial dispute. Police spoke with the people involved.

Missing person. Police spoke with the man. He was transported to an alternate location.

Intoxicated person causing a disturbance at a restaurant on Hwy 16. Police apprehended the woman under the Mental Health Act and transported her to Mills Memorial Hospital. She was arrested a short time later.

Missing youth. The youth returned home on their own accord later in the night.

Thornhill

Harassment complaint. Police spoke with a person.

Rural

An intoxicated and belligerent woman was arrested on outstanding warrants out of Comox. She is held for court.

Breach of a no contact condition. Under investigation.
