Terrace RCMP responded to 28 calls for service from January 29th, 8 a.m. till January 30th, 8 a.m.
During the same time period, there were three people lodged in Terrace Cells, all for intoxication.
Downtown Terrace
Drug trafficking investigation.
Group of people arguing about who is going to pay for a taxi. Police spoke with the group and called a taxi for them.
Unsafe skateboarder in the TD parking lot. Checks were done of the area.
False business alarm on Park Ave.
Elsewhere Terrace
Theft from an unlocked white 1990 Chevrolet Cavalier parked on Park Ave. Numerous music CDs and a CD containing wedding pictures were stolen.
Ongoing harassment issues involving an ex-spouse’s new partner. Police gave advice on the matter.
Investigation of breach of probation by failing to report.
Intoxicated man passed out near the band shelter in the library park. Police arrested a 71-year-old man.
False cellular 911 call.
Group of people drinking alcohol in George Little Park. Checks were done of the area.
Possible intoxicated driver in a grey 2007 Honda Civic. Police spoke with 20-year-old driver. He was sober.
Group of intoxicated people on Park Ave. Checks were done of the area.
Intoxicated person causing a disturbance at a church on Park Ave. Police arrested a 37-year-old man.
A 12-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy involved in an altercation at school. Police spoke with the people involved.
Familial dispute. A 29-year-old woman left prior to police attendance. No offence was committed. Police were called to this residence three times in total. A 47-year-old woman left for the night till sober heads could prevail.
A 12-year-old daughter had a temper tantrum and then left a residence. Police spoke with a parent and gave advice on the matter.
Tapping on a window of a residence on Haugland Ave. Police checked the residence and nothing suspicious was noted.
Break and enter to Kiti-K-Shan School at 11:30 p.m. last night.
An intoxicated man attended to the detachment requesting to be arrested. Police arrested the 43-year-old man.
Suicidal 14-year-old girl. Police transported the girl to Mills Memorial Hospital.
Man passed out at the bus stop on Haugland Ave. Checks were done of the area.
Thornhill
A parent was bit when she attempted to take a phone away from a 15-year-old child. Police spoke with the people involved.
A tire of a blue 2009 GMC Sierra truck was slashed while it was parked at the Northern Motor Inn last night.
Rural
Breach of no contact order. Numerous phone calls received. Police gave advice on the matter.
Sexual assault investigation.
