Police hunt for stolen car after homeowner stabbed in Surrey

Police are looking for a white Mini Cooper after a man was stabbed and robbed in his home in the 19100-block of 62 Avenue in Surrey during a break-in early this morning.

Surrey RCMP say the homeowner was stabbed after confronting two suspects inside the home.

Two white male suspects fled in the man’s car – a 2005 white Mini Cooper with a black top, bearing the B.C. license plate number BT6 75H.

The homeowner was taken to hospital to be treated for a non-life threatening injury, police say.
