Police look for suspect in attempted abduction

Kelowna police are looking to identify a man who allegedly attempted to grab two 6-year-old girls.
On April 12, at 2:30 pm, Kelowna RCMP responded to a possible attempted abduction of the girls when he tried to lure them to a nearby shed. The incident occurred near Lake Country.
The girls described the suspect and his vehicle as the following:
Vehicle:
- Small
- Dark green (not quite forest green)
- Seats inside were black and blue (and maybe some red)
Male:
- Short straight brown hair
- Goatee
- Jeans
- White male
- White shirt
- 6′ (182 cm)
- Medium build
- Approximately 40 years old
Anyone with any information regarding the identity of the man or who may have witnessed the incident is asked to call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
