Police in Kelowna look for suspect in attempted abduction

On Sunday, a man allegedly tried to lure two 6-year-old girls into a shed near Lake Country.

Police look for suspect in attempted abduction

Kelowna police are looking to identify a man who allegedly attempted to grab two 6-year-old girls.

On April 12, at 2:30 pm, Kelowna RCMP responded to a possible attempted abduction of the girls when he tried to lure them to a nearby shed. The incident occurred near Lake Country.

The girls described the suspect and his vehicle as the following:

Vehicle:

  • Small
  • Dark green (not quite forest green)
  • Seats inside were black and blue (and maybe some red)

Male:

  • Short straight brown hair
  • Goatee
  • Jeans
  • White male
  • White shirt
  • 6′ (182 cm)
  • Medium build
  • Approximately 40 years old
