Police look for liquor theft suspect

Public asked for help in identifying woman

The Salmon Arm RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a female is alleged to have failed to pay for a bottle of liquor on Thursday, April 6.

At approximately 2 p.m. the Salmon Arm RCMP received a theft complaint from a local liquor store regarding a woman stealing booze.

It is alleged that the woman left a local Salmon Arm “Liquor Store” outlet without paying for a bottle.

Store video surveillance captured video of the woman putting a bottle of liquor in a large purse she was carrying and then walking out of the store without paying.

The suspect female was wearing a camouflage shirt, brown boots and a green jacket.

The Salmon Arm RCMP woud like the public’s help in identifying the female in the foreground of the photo.
