Police are looking for a suspect in the robbery of the Haida Inn Beer and Wine Store in Campbell River on Saturday, June 10 in the mid morning hours.
The Haida Inn Beer and Wine Store, located on Shoppers Row, was robbed by an unidentified male, Campbell River RCMP reported. At 10:40 a.m., the male entered the liquor store with a his hand held under his shirt and demanded money. No weapon was seen, however, the male suspect stole approximately $100. He was last seen running across the street into the Tyee Plaza parking area.
The suspect is described as a white male between the age of 40-45 years and had large open sores on his left arm. He has white or light blond hair and had a scruffy beard. He wore a white shirt with logos, possibly like a Nascar shirt and had a black and white Fila baseball cap.
