On April 8, two sheds at a residence in the 6000 block of Hammond Bay Road were broken into. The only item taken was a wheelbarrow which was later recovered on Somerside Place and returned to the owner.

On April 9, Green Thumb Nursery, on Hammond Bay Road, was broken into. Suspects cut through the compound fence and stole a used power generator.

On April 10, two ATV quads were reported stolen from the backyard of a home in the 6000 block of Sierra Way. The theft is believed to have occurred  between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. One quad is a red and white 1987 Honda TRX250R (it was not working) and the other a red and white 2002 Honda 300TRX.

Sometime overnight on April 10, a red 1994 Honda Civic, parked in front of 6000 block of McGirr Road, was broken into. When the owner went to get in the car in the morning, she found both doors unlocked and the trunk ransacked. A Kenworth stereo system, some kids clothing and a portable DVD player were stolen.

On April 10 at approximately 10 a.m., an iPhone 4 was stolen from Wellington Secondary School. The owner of the phone was in dance class at the time of the theft.

On April 11, a home in the 2600 block of Starlight Trail was broken into. The break-in occurred between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. and entry was gained through an unlocked patio door. A white Apple Macbook Pro and a black Sony Playstation were stolen,

On April 11, Duke Point Auto Recyclers, at 821 Maughan Rd., was broken into. Entry was gained through a hole cut in the compound fence that parallels the Duke Point highway. A number of vehicles had gasoline syphoned from them and two vehicles also had stereos removed.

On April 10, a home in the 400 block of Applewood Crescent was broken into. Thieves gained entry by pulling back the screen to the bathroom window. A HP laptop computer, Xbox 360 with power cord, controller and three games (Modern Warfare, Black Ops 2, and Borderlands) were stolen.

On Thursday April 11, a black electric scooter was stolen from a yard at a home in the 3100 block of Adby Road, off Departure Bay Road.
