On April 17, 100 Mile House RCMP received a report of a theft of vehicle in the 5000 block of Park Drive.

She was arrested and the vehicle located soon after in a rural area. The female was released and will appear in court at a later date.

Broke conditions

On April 17, RCMP stopped a vehicle for speeding on Highway 97 near Alpine Avenue.

The male driver from Coquitlam was found to be on a conditional sentence order for drug offences and was not allowed to be away from his residence.

The driver was arrested and lodged in cells. The male was subsequently detained in custody.

MVA violations

On April 14, RCMP assisted Commercial Vehicle Safety Enforcement (CVSE) with a stop of a commercial vehicle on Highway 97 south of 100 Mile House.

The driver of the vehicle was found in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

The commercial vehicle, which was hauling logs, was found to have no insurance and an insecure load.

The marijuana was seized and the driver was issued several Motor Vehicle Act violations.
