Impaired
On Oct. 22, 100 Mile RCMP stopped a vehicle for making an unsafe turn near First Street and Hwy. 97. The female driver showed signs of being impaired and a roadside breath test was conducted. The driver blew a fail and was issued a 90-day roadside prohibition and her vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
Break and Enter
On Oct. 21, 100 Mile RCMP received a report of a B&E at a seasonal residence on Magnussen Road, Sheridan Lake. Entry was made to the residence sometime between Oct. 19 and the 21. It is unknown what, if anything, was stolen until the owners attended the property. Anyone who may have information about this incident is asked to call the 100 Mile House RCMP.
Heavy foot
On Oct. 21, 100 Mile RCMP Traffic Services stopped a car near the 90 Mile Loop on Hwy. 97. The car had been travelling at 146 km in a 100 km zone. The female driver was charged for excessive speeding and her vehicle impounded.
Driving too fast
On Oct. 21, 100 Mile RCMP Traffic Services stopped a car near 9th Ave. on Hwy. 97. The car had been travelling at 111 km in a 50 km zone. The female driver was charged for excessive speeding and her vehicle was impounded.
