Some police sleuthing and surveillance footage led RCMP to make an arrest for stolen property.
The Salmon Arm RCMP have recommended charges against a 38-year-old man in relation to a break, enter and theft from a business which was reported on March 23.
On that day, a report of a break-in was received from a business in the 1000 block of 10th Ave. SW.
A man set off alarms in the store and was later seen on store security cameras when the footage
was reviewed.
The suspect took items from the store and when police tracked him down on April 10, he was found in possession of some of those items.
As a result of the investigation, the suspect was also found in possession of bank cards and credit cards that were not in his name, along with what police believe to be a smoke grenade.
The suspect, who is not from Salmon Arm, will be appearing in court in May to answer to a number of charges.
