Port Hardy RCMP request the public’s help in solving crime involving camera equipment

Port Alice’s new RCMP officer Rebekah Draht issued a press release requesting the public’s help in solving a crime.

“On January 16 2019 a good citizen reported to the RCMP that someone had tried to sell him a camera bag with camera equipment inside,” stated Draht. “When questioned as to where the seller got the items, he ran off leaving the items. The good citizen dropped the items off at the Port Hardy detachment in hopes of finding the owner.”

“Please advise if you are the owner, you will need to provide information as to details about the camera equipment the bag,” noted Draht.
