Port Hardy RCMP shut down Granville street on Nov. 15 for a period of time due to an incident of domestic violence.

Port Hardy RCMP shut down Granville Street Nov. 15 for a period of time as a result of an incident in the area.

According to Staff Sgt. Wes Olsen “police were searching for a suspect in relation to a complaint. There was no danger to the public and the subject was apprehended a short period of time later in a different location.”

Olsen said this was a domestic violence matter that is still under investigation and no further details were available at this time.
