Following last week’s public notice of her sale of Pretty Estates, Betty Anne Faulkner announced new management of Pretty Estates Resort public on Monday.

On April 6th, Canadian Aurora Investment Ltd. purchased Pretty Estates Resort and appointed Ted Swaine as the General Manager.

“We are excited about the opportunity to build on an established foundation,” a spokesperson from Canadian Aurora Investment Ltd. said in a press release. “The property is absolutely spectacular. We have several plans in mind, which will be revealed within the next few months. Having Ted Swaine lead our team is a tremendous asset.”

Swaine has been employed with Pretty Estates Resort for almost two decades.

He has worked in several positions, ranging from assistant golf professional (BC of PGA Member) to, most recently, director of golf operations and sales.

“I believe in Pretty Estates Resort, and have heard inn guests, golfers and locals rave about the resort for the past 17 years,” Swaine said. “Intuitively, I sense what lies ahead, and am determined to lead and empower our team to see Pretty Estates Resort reach its potential as a premier resort destination.”

Faulkner, previous owner and president of Pretty Estates Resort, said her family property is going into excellent hands and she has confidence in Canadian Aurora Investment Ltd.’s ability to lead Pretty Estates into the next era.

“My vision was always to share the beauty and tranquil nature of this property with people from across the world,” she said. “I am fortunate in that I will continue living at Rowena’s Inn, welcoming new and familiar faces.”
