Transit Police say they have arrested 45-year-old Surrey resident Dean Garett Harris on a Canada-wide warrant.
Harris is considered a prolific offender, with roughly 78 convictions in a criminal history that spans three decades, police say. Many of his offences were property-related, according to Transit Police.
Harris was released from prison last January and was wanted for revocation of parole.
According to a release, Harris was located by officers during a “field check” at Scott Road SkyTrain Station on March 18 at approximately 6 p.m.
He was arrested without incident, according to police, and has returned to the Matsqui institution.
