Properties owned by a family allegedly involved in running a Falkland marijuana grow operation have been placed under restraint orders.
The Supreme Court of B.C. has ruled that properties in the 3900 block of Kneller Road and the 3300 block of Highway 97, are to be placed under restraint.
The properties can’t be sold, damaged or traded until court proceedings against those arrested in connection with the grow-op are over.
RCMP wrapped up a month-long investigation into the alleged family-run marijuana grow operation in May. The two properties were searched under a warrant, and more than 2,200 plants were seized from outbuildings on both properties.
Officers also seized about $10,000 in Canadian currency along with trafficking paraphernalia.
Four people were charged with counts of possession and trafficking, and their matters remain before the courts.
When the court matters have concluded, the court will then decide what to do with the properties.
