The developer who is bringing life to an abandoned highrise site is welcoming the public to see their plans.
The 21 storey highrise, 1151 Sunset Drive, will be on display at 1001 Manhattan Drive Aug. 19.
“Located in the heart of downtown Kelowna, the 21-storey high-rise is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated buildings in the area as construction begins at the site next month,” reads a press release from Kerkhoff Construction.
The public will have the chance to visit the presentation centre, start previewing floor plans and designs.
Sales of the homes will not commence until mid-to-late September, so previews are only with the intent of providing the public with more information about the recently resurrected site prior to making a decision to purchase. The high-rise will include 117 condominiums and seven townhomes.
Regular hours of operation starting Aug. 19 will be:
Monday to Wednesday: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Thursday and Friday: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
The public are highly encouraged to schedule appointments to attend the opening presentation centre. To book an appointment and register to receive updates about 1151 Sunset Drive, call 250.980.7637 or visit 1151sunset.com.
